別注品　伊賀くみひも　サミットバッグ

G7伊勢志摩サミットで伊勢志摩に来訪するG7各国代表団及びプレス関係者さまへの記念品としてサミットバッグが配布され、ファスナーの取手部分に「伊賀くみひも」が採用されました。

調和を表す緑をベースに安定の紺、活性化のオレンジ色が組み込まれ、結び目は「叶結び」、平和への願いが叶う、G7各国の願いが叶うようお祈り申し上げます。

伊賀くみひも
バッグのファスナーエンドに取り付けられたスライダーは、三重県の伝統工芸品である「伊賀くみひも」です。美しく染め上げられた絹糸、その一筋一筋が交わり合い、独特の風合いと味わいを作り出すくみひもは、国の伝統的工芸品として指定されています。
古来より、奈良時代の経典や袈裟、正倉院に残された楽器、平安時代の王朝貴族の装束に欠かせない束帯、鎌倉時代には武士の武具、室町時代は茶道具の飾り紐、戦国時代には鎧、江戸時代には刀剣の飾紐などに用いられ、現代では羽織紐・帯締めなど和装の必需品です。

Iga Kumihimo Braid
The slider attached to the end of the bag’s zipper tab is a braid called Iga Kumihimo braid, a traditional handicraft of Mie. It is braided with beautifully dyed silk threads, each of which contributes its unique texture and beauty. This incomparable braid is designated as a “National Traditional Handicraft”.
Iga Kumihimo Braid has been used to decorate various Japanese goods since ancient times; sacred writings, priestly robes and musical instruments in Nara period (710-794), nobles’ court dress in the Heian period (794-1192), samurai weapons in the Kamakura period (1192-1333), tea utensils in the Muromachi period (1338-1573), an armor in the Warring States period (1467-1590) and swords in the Edo period (1603-1868). Today it is an essential accessory to Japanese-style dress, used to fasten obi (kimono sashes) and haori (kimono coats).
